Key Qualifications: 

Management of consulting programs and assignments in the fields of forestry and the environment. This includes the development, implementation and monitoring international programs.

Work experience:
Øystein Aasaaren has 35 years of professional experience in project development, project administration and implementation within the forestry and environmental sector. Thematifcally, the projects include  forest management, forest owner co-operation, forest management planning, watershed management, multiple use planning, forest valuation, sustainable natural resource management and PR related projects, supporting both private and public sector development.

Mr. Aasaaren has working experience from several regions in Norway and from Sweden, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Ghana, Belize, Nicaragua, The Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, China, Sri Lanka and Ethiopia.
