Polyglot ability [French, English, Russian, Arabic, Hungarian].

Work experience:

Kamel CHORFI has more than 25 years of professional experience in development, coordination, implementation and monitoring of environmental and forestry-based development programs. Thematically, this includes integrated and participatory forest management, forest and land use planning, transformation and valuation of wood and non wood forest products, sustainable natural resource management with specific focus on socioeconomic aspects.

Mr.  Kamel CHORFI has a working experience from different countries in Europe, Africa and Central Asia, i.e. Russia, France, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Algeria and Ethiopia.

Education:

• 2008: PhD in “Environmental Sciences” at Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Sciences [Agro Paris Tech], Paris, France.
• 2004: Master’s Degree in “Wood Sciences” at French Institute of Forestry, Agricultural and Environmental Engineering [ENGREF], Nancy, France.
• 1990: Master’s Degree in “Forest Engineering” at Voronezh Academy of Forest Sciences, Voronezh, Russia.
• 1989: University Degree in “Russian language”, University of Voronezh, Russia
